Malaysia FA Cup final tickets to be sold for RM50 each

Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) CEO Kevin Ramalingam has just announced that 70,000 tickets, priced at RM50 each, will be made available for the Superbest Power FA Cup final between Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) and PKNS on May 14.

The allocated tickets will only have one price, which accommodates all children and adults.

“The plan was to allocate 30,000 tickets to each team and sell the remaining 10,000 tickets online, but PKNS wants only 10,000 tickets,” Kevin Ramalingam told Berita Harian.

“In that case, JDT will receive 50,000 tickets for the FA Cup final next Saturday.

In 2015, the tickets were sold at RM40, whereas 2,000 tickets (children) were sold at RM5.

“I know there will be disagreements but we need to be bold by making a change. In previous editions, most of the tickets for children were not sold so we decided not to sell them now.

The sale of tickets will commence at the Larkin Stadium and Shah Alam Stadium on May 9 whereas fans can start buying their tickets through the Internet at 9am on the same day.
