#Justice4Andre: Sabah fans launch campaign to defend Andrezinho

Sabah fans have launched an online campaign in defence of their foreign player Andrezinho, who is reportedly being given unfair treatment by the management of Sabah Football Association.

The Brazilian player was allegedly released by the management early on in the season, though it now appears that there has not been any black and white document to reflect that claim. As a result, Andrezinho has been attending training sessions as usual, though he has been forced to train individually, away from the main Premier League squad.

According to SarawakCrocs.com, the Sabah FA Supreme Council reportedly voted in favour of restoring Andrezinho to their set-up as soon as the April transfer window gets going, though CEO and team manager Datuk Goh Thian Chuan is against the idea and issued a ‘veto’ towards that decision.

Fans claim that the management is trying to force the Brazilian forward out of the team and that it’s extremely unfair to do so, considering that he’s still contracted to the Rhinos.

To protest against the move, Sabah fans started tweeting with the hashtag ‘#Justice4Andre’ and that campaign was even brought to the Likas Stadium last night, where banners of the hashtag were displayed during their Premier League clash against Kuantan FA.

The ongoing fracas adds to the list of issues that Sabah FA have faced this season; from signing an underqualified defender in Tales Dos Santos, to having their Team Manager in the form of George O’Callaghan disappear without trace.
