K-League side declare formal interest in Norshahrul Idlan?

Incheon United FC are reportedly keen on securing the signature of Terengganu forward Norshahrul Idlan Talaha.

The Malaysian international only joined the Turtles in April, after leaving ATM, but it now appears that a move to South Korea could be on the cards for the former Kelantan and JDT man.

An official letter from Incheon United has been circulating on social media, where the Korean side expressed their official interest in acquiring the services of Mat Yo. They also took the liberty of mentioning that a move for the 29 year-old would boost the profile of Malaysian football in general.

It must be noted that there are several grammatical errors in the letter and absence of any confirmation means that it could very well be a rumour.

Should the speculation be true, it also claims that Norshahrul is undecided over the offer. He is said to be mulling over the fact that he’s reaching the latter part of his career and that he’s past his peak form.

Incheon is the third biggest city in South Korea with Incheon United being the resident club of the city. It currently competes in the K-League, which is one of the most reputable leagues in Asia, and features players like Lee Chun-Soo on it’s team roster.
