El Hadji Diouf arrives in KK ahead of Sabah FA move

Former Liverpool striker El Hadji Diouf has arrived in Kota Kinabalu to discuss personal terms ahead of finalizing his move to Malaysian Premier League side Sabah FA.

Diouf has been without a club since he was released by Leeds United in May, though he has been negotiating with several sides on potential moves. However, Sabah FA recently made their intentions clear, and Diouf was more than tempted by the prospect of plying his trade in Asia.

Negotiations were then held between representatives of both parties, and Diouf has now flown in to finalize discussions regarding personal terms, before officially confirming the move.

The Rhinos are currently beefing up their squad ahead of the 2015 Malaysian Premier League season, where they are aspiring to do well and seize promotion into the Super League the following year.

Sabah are also talking to ex-Man United midfielder, Liam Miller, as we exclusively revealed recently.
