Andy Murray keeps ATP Finals hopes alive

Andy Murray kept his ATP World Tour Finals hopes alive with a straight-set win over Milos Raonic at the O2 Arena in London.

Murray would have been eliminated with a defeat but came through the tense match, beating Raonic 6-3, 7-5.

He next faces Roger Federer in his final Group B encounter on Thursday, with a semi-final place still up for grabs.

Meanwhile, Federer remains on course to qualify for the semi-finals after he recorded his second straight Group B win.

The second seed and six-time champion at the season finale defeated fourth seed Kei Nishikori 6-3, 6-2 for his 70th match win of the year, which includes five trophies.

He is also attempting to become year-end No. 1 in the Emirates ATP Rankings for the sixth time.
