Twitter reacts to verdict on Chong Wei’s doping scandal

The verdict for Lee Chong Wei’s doping case has been revealed and the former number one will be serving a backdated 8 month-ban and will be eligible to participate in upcoming tournaments starting from May 1.

An official announcement was made today by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin in Putrajaya and it was aired exclusively on Astro Arena and TV3 alongside various local channels.

Fans all over the nation rejoiced and expressed their utter revel over the verdict through social media. Most of them gave a warm welcome to the ‘national hero’ and are excited to see him back on the court, thriving for the country.
