Zulfadli’s BAM move is still being discussed – Morten Frost

Zulfadli’s potential move to BAM has not been entirely confirmed, though talks have taken place between both parties, regarding the idea.

The talented shutter has been training independently since leaving KLRC in 2013, though BAM technical director Morten Frost did admit that they’ve had talks with him and his family on the possibility of getting Zulfadli to be under BAM’s tutelage.

“I have been in touch with Zulfadli and his family, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Frost, however, admitted that the door has not been closed for Zulfadli to join BAM as they are ready to continue discussing his future with them.

The 22-year-old would be happy with his performances in Jakarta World Championships, where he cruised into the third round, upsetting world no. 6 Chou Tien Chen of Taiwan along the way.

“Zulfadli will always remain a talented kid despite training on his own. He has a unique style of play, but needs to improve on his back strength. The Jakarta results is a good beginning for him,” said Frost, as quoted by Harian Metro.
