Moto2 racer Hafizh Syahrin ends Spanish GP on high note

National Moto2 sensation Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah portrayed one of his best performances after ending the Spanish Grand Prix in seventh place, after starting the race at 13th grid yesterday.

For the record, the result will be a second best for the PETRONAS Raceline Malaysia driver this season, the first being his sixth place finish in the US Grand Prix.

Hafizh who failed to pick up any points during the last two rounds prior to Spain, managed to set aside the disappointment when seen calmly disposing his fellow racers one by one till he was forced to compete with Johan Zarco for sixth place.

He finally settled for seventh place, which also sees him occupy 18th spot overall with 45 points.

Another national racer Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman, who is representing Honda Team Asia, also did well after finishing the race in 14th place, collecting two valuable points in the process.
