Hafiz Kamal delighted with second chance to represent Malaysia

Pahang midfielder Hafiz Kamal has vowed to give it all to the national team after called upon to represent the Malayan Tigers once again.

Hafiz, who was last seen wearing the infamous black and yellow stripes in 2014 during the AFF Cup campaign, is determined to prove his worth to temporary manager, Ong Kim Swee.

According to him, Kim Swee’s faith will be rewarded soon enough as they prepare ahead of their meeting with Laos on 8th of October.

“I’m always prepared to represent the Malayan Tigers and the chance given by coach has further boosted by confidence to guide the team to success.”

“I hope my inclusion will at least help the squad to rise again after major setbacks in the qualifying rounds of 2018 World Cup/2019 Asian Cup campaign,” he told Arena Metro.

Meanwhile, Hafiz also believes his Pahang side will be able to record a win over Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) in the Group D match of Malaysia Cup this Saturday.

Pahang’s shocking 1-4 loss to Penang was unexpected, but Hafiz expects them to bounce back in time to defeat PDRM and book a place in the quarter finals.
