“Keep an eye on Zah Rahan” – Hariss warns JDT teammates

Johor Darul Ta’azim midfielder Hariss Harun has urged his teammates to keep tabs on Zah Rahan Krangar, when they take on Felda United in the second leg of the Malaysia Cup quarter-final tie, tomorrow.

The first leg was a closely contested affair, and the 1-1 score line certainly reflected that. Hariss though, is confident of having the upper hand in the second leg, considering that they’re playing at home. But there’s just one minor problem – Zah Rahan Krangar.

“Felda’s main heartbeat is Zah Rahan, who is incredibly smart of controlling the tempo of the game and is capable of making defence-splitting passes. We can’t afford to let him control the game,” Hariss told Harian Metro.

“But playing at home will give us a minor advantage though we need to be aggresive from the beginning, because Felda will most likely adopt a different strategy on Saturday night.

“We’ve got to be patient and avoid playing under too much pressure. We don’t want them capitalizing on our minor mistakes,” he added.

Tomorrow’s match will take place at the Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Hassan Stadium, with kick off slated for 8.45 PM.
