It was a disheartening day for Man United fans as they were officially eliminated from the Champions League after they were agonizingly thrashed by Wolfsburg 2-3.
The Red Devils, whom made their exit in a disastrous fashion had fans around the world mourning and drowning their heads in embarrassment.
As usual, Twitter was on a blow with the comments for the exit.
What was it that went wrong? Many had claim that the club had been deteriorating and were unable to maintain their greatness since Sir Alex Ferguson left and only had current manager Louis Van Gaal to blame for the disappointing defeat. The criticism against LVG’s poor management flooded the social media.
However, Van Gaal here has something else to say, or rather, blame, for their horrible defeat. The Dutchman seems a little stricken by the loss.
