Andy Murray defends fiancee’s swearing outburst

British tennis star Andy Murray has come to the defence of his fiancée, Kim Sears, who had a swearing outburst during his Australian Open semi-final clash against Tomas Berdych.

Kim was apparently caught on camera mouthing “f****** have it you Czech flash f***” during Murray’s first drop set, and the video went viral throughout the internet.

However, Murray immediately defended his fiancee, claiming that the incident was probably something that was instigated in the heat of the moment.  t

“In the heat of the moment, you can say stuff that you regret.” Murray told BBC.

“When there’s a lot of tension surrounding something, which you created, it’s completely normal that the whole first set everyone was tight.”

Murray secured a 6-7 6-0 6-3 7-5 win to reach the Australian Open final, where he will either face Novak Djokovic or defending champion Stan Wawrinka, depending on the outcome of their semi-final match.

Video of Kim Sears’ outburst is available below.
