Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiaohas revealed that the highly anticipated fight against undefeated boxing legend Floyd Maywether is merely awaiting official confirmation.
Pacquiao claims that the lengthy negotiation is on the verge of being completed with him agreeing to conduct a drug test and vet out unwanted substances.
“We agreed that this fight has to happen. We are ironing out the kinks. He (Mayweather) said he wants the fight to push through.” Pacquiao told AFP.
The showdown between the legends, something boxing fans have desired for ages now, could be one of the most lucrative fights ever as the duo seem to have agreed to a $250 million deal.
Mayweather though, isn’t providing official confirmation just yet though speculation also suggests that he is extremely keen for this to happen.
