2015 Windy City Open: Nicol David charges into final

Malaysian squash queen Nicol David is through to the finals of the 2015 Windy City Open after defeating Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb in the semi finals.

The world number one, who is bidding to secure her 80th career title, only needed 52 minutes to wrap up the match with a 11-9, 13-1 straight sets victory.

Nicol will next face world number 2 Raneem El Welily, who defeated France’s Camille Serme in a tight match with a 11-8, 8-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-3 victory.

The 31 year-old last faced the Egyptian in the finals of the 2015 Cleveland Classics, in which Nicol defeated her with 11-5, 11-9, 11-4 to secure the title.
