Nicol David has been knocked out of the J.P. Tournament of Champions after losing to Egypt’s Nour El Sherbini in the semi-finals earlier today.
The world number three came into the tie with a good momentum, but she was easily ousted by her Egyptian counterpart, losing 11-8, 11-5, 11-6 in merely 26 minutes.
The victory means that El Sherbini will be facing USA’s Amanda Sobhy in the final, after the clinched a win over Nouran Gohar in the other semi-finals.
