‘No pain no gain’ they say and for new groom Zulfahmi Khairuddin, the agony is to cancel off his honeymoon in order to focus more on his pre-season training for the upcoming World Superbike Championship (WSBK 2016) at the Jerez Circuit in Spain next week.
The rider, whom had his wedding reception with his wife Nuruldina Talhis two days ago in Kampung Bukit Changgang claimed the the training was far more significant for him as he needs to get used to his new Kawasaki ZX-6R.
“It will also give me a chance to see where I measure up against my rivals,” he said as quoted from Bernama.
Racing for Kawasaki Orelac Racing Team in his debut season, Zulfahmi remains humble for his expected outcome and hopes to just do his best.
