Annuar Musa orders K. Devan to get team in order

Tan Sri Annuar Musa has directly ordered Kelantan head coach K. Devan to work on the team’s weaknesses and make immediate alterations where necessary before the M-League begins on February 13.

The Kelantan FA (KAFA) President has not been impressed and expects Devan to work harder after witnessing his side performing below par during a friendly match against Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

“I am clueless on why we have not been performing to our best potential. The team did not make enough short passes or one-two’s to support our movement and only one through ball was made throughout the whole game. There is still a lot to be done before the new season begins,” as reported by Sinar Harian.

“We lost the ball many times in midfield when we tried to attack, as well as when we tried to defend. If this problem is not solved, it will be a huge worry for Kelantan,” he told the reporters after the game.

However, Annuar Musa gave Devan the benefit of the doubt because the head coach had little time to work with his team to build chemistry as Dramane Troare, Jonatan Lucca and Blazhe Ilijoski just signed for Pamoga Qu Puteh The Red Warriors (PQPTRW).

“He (Devan) needs to work hard to build an understanding between four of the foreign players. I realized that we have not had the chance to fully test them because they only just arrived. We need to work on this to get a good start to the new season.

Kelantan lost 2-0 at home to the Premier League side courtesy of goals from Modibo Konte and Leonardo Moreira.
