K. Reuben setting sights on Harimau Malaysia spot

PDRM’s new defender K. Reuben is finally hoping to put a miserable 2015 behind his back and focus on scaling bigger heights when the 2016 Malaysia Super League season kicks off this weekend.

The 25 year-old fullback, who featured for ATM last year,  endured a frustrating time in 2015, where he was plagued with injury issues, besides ATM’s own financial issues. But as far as he is concerned, none of that matters now.

“I was injured, then I got better. But then I got injured again. These things made by mental strength amplify,” he told Harian Metro.

“Now I’m back stronger and I can’t wait to start the new season with this team [PDRM].

Reuben is also hoping that he’ll be able to earn a spot in the national squad, should he do well for The Cops this year.

“Nothing is impossible in football. The most important thing is to focus and give 100% commitment in training or during matches,” he added.
