Hendrawan to analyze LCW’s rivals in All England

National ace Lee Chong Wei will be gunning for a shot to secure his fourth All England title next week and according to coach Hendrawan, there is more to winning as per the objective of competing under the prestigious tournament.

Hendrawan claimed that the All England championship is the best platform to assess the national top seed’s performance and also the performance of his possible opponents for the upcoming Rio Olympics this August.

“The main objective of the All England championship would definitely be making sure Chong Wei stays consistent,” said Hendrawan as quoted from Harian Metro.

“But the second objective is the start focusing on the strengths and patterns of players like Lin Dan, Chen Long and Kento Momota.”

“For example, Lin Dan. If he wants something, he’s much more of a threat and aspects like these needs to be assessed.”

“The assessment is not just limited to three of those players, in fact it’s open to all other potential opponents.”
