Bojan Hodak to replace K. Rajagopal at Sarawak FA?

The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) are reportedly considering giving Datuk K. Rajagopal the sack if he fails to guide them to the Malaysia Cup competition this season.

The Crocs are currently in last place in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) and need a win against Perak at the Sarawak Stadium on May 18 to guarantee a spot in the Malaysia Cup.

According to Kamek Miak Sarawak, a Facebook page dedicated to reporting news in Sarawak, the FAS are interested in replacing K. Rajagopal with ex-Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) head coach Bojan Hodak, after he visited SMK Belawai in Mukah, Sarawak yesterday.

The ex-national team coach has been getting the stick from the Sarawak fans all season long for failing to transform the 2013 Premier League winners into a formidable team. The supporters finally voiced out their concerns after suffering a loss to Terengganu this week.

“We have to consider all options if we intend to fire an individual or even hire someone else, and it cannot be done easily,” FAS president Datu Sudarsono Othman said to SarawakCrocs.

“Contracts must be assessed and our finances must be in order before something is done.”
