Ong Kim Swee wants to rest JDT players for Myanmar match

Harimau Malaysia head coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee will not take the risk of playing most of the Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) players for the friendly match against Myanmar on Saturday.

Ong Kim Swee said that those group of players will be needed more when he the national team faces Timor-Leste in the 2019 Asian Cup play-off match at the Larkin Stadium in June.

“I will only start Johor Darul Takzim players if they did not complete 90 minutes against Kaya FC yesterday. The rest will play in the second half,” he said as quoted by Utusan.
