Tunku Ismail receives invitation to attend World Football Summit

Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) owner Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim has received an invitation to attend the World Football Summit after being recognized for his contributions to the game.

The Regent of Johor will discuss issues regarding football in Madrid, Spain on October 27-28.

The conference will also be attended by football giants from around the world such as Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, AC Milan and more.

“The invitation for Johor Darul Ta’zim to meet and discuss football matters with world-famous clubs is historic and a huge honor,” Tunku Ismail said on the official Facebook page.

The letter read: “As the owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim, we would consider it a great honor if you could join us during the World Football Summit as we are certain your presence will enhance the quality of our event and help football development in both Malaysia and Asia.”

The World Football Summit focus on strengthening the image of the industry as a key sector of any economy. They also bring together international businesses and brands linked to football as well as foster international relationships between institutions and countries through football by showcasing their experiences. They intend to establish football as an effective vehicle to foster development, education and social corporate responsibility.
