Gareth Bale receives police protection as fiancee’s cousin ‘runs’ to Malaysia

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and his fiancee Emma Rhys-Jones have been placed under police protection after Emma’s cousin, Epiphany Dring went missing after reportedly running away with valuables belonging to a drug gang.

According to Daily Mail, Dring has been missing for five weeks, and British police’s sources suggest that she has fleed to Malaysia.

Since her disappearance, Emma’s family has been subjected to several arson attacks, with the unnamed drug gang reportedly hunting after a suitcase that’s worth around £1million – the one Dring reportedly stole.

Emma’s relatives’ cars have been set on fire in Wales, including the ones belonging to her grandparents. As a result, several police officers were stationed outside Gareth Bale’s hotel room in Gran Canaria, Spain, where Real Madrid played a football game against Las Palmas, over the weekend.

“There were three armed police posted outside the rooms, obviously there to make sure there were no unwanted visitors. It was pretty extreme for such a luxury hotel, renowned for its old-fashioned charm,” UK newspaper The Sun reported.
