#MalaysiaCupFinal: 30,000 tickets gone in 30 minutes

When the Malaysia Cup final tickets were announced at RM 50, there were a lot of mixed reactions from local football fans and it seemed like a lot of people were unsure about going.

But guess what; the 30,000 tickets were sold out in just under 30 minutes!

A lot of fans were left disappointed at the Shah Alam Stadium after they were told that tickets were sold out at about 10.30 am. Malaysian football fans are just as hardcore as any, some of them queued up since 6 am to make sure they can get their hands on the tickets.

There was also a restriction that each person was only allowed to buy four tickets, and the tickets on-sale were only for Selangor fans. Ismadi Razak, a Kedah fan, was denied tickets after he showed his identification card at the ticket counter.

“The stadium’s management asked me to show my identity card. I disagree with this procedure as it never been done before,” he told New Straits Times.

Despite the disappointment, it definitely looks like an exciting start for the Malaysia Cup final!
