Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger is likely to leave Manchester United after being told that his career at Old Trafford is over. Nothing has been confirmed, but the 32-year old German was seen leaving a restaurant after meeting with Chicago Fire manager Veljko Paunovic. The two apparently dined at an Italian restaurant in Cheshire.
This is quite a blow, considering that Schweinsteiger was spotted training with the Red Devil’s first team recently. However, United boss Mourinho has made it clear that the German has no future at Old Trafford.
The former Germany captain joined Manchester United back in 2015 under Louis van Gaal, but has not had much chance to shine under new manager Jose Mourinho.
