TMJ rewards Faiz Subri with no strings attached

His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor has rewarded RM 15,000 to Penang’s Faiz Subri. His Royal Highness is also a patron of the Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia.

The cash award is given as an appreciation for Faiz Subri’s ‘physics defying’ goal that has earned him a place in the top three for the FIFA Puskas Award. Faiz has successfully put Malaysia in the international arena of football and also the first Malaysian to reach the FIFA Gala Awards.

Faiz Subri is also making headlines all over the world as the little known footballer who has rose to the ranks of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

After announcing the reward, JDT clarified that the cash award has nothing to do with rumours that JDT is trying to sign the 29-year old footballer for Ayer Itam.
