Thailand gear up to “game over” Indonesia at the Suzuki Cup finals

It’s finally here!

The final leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 is happening tonight between Thailand and Indonesia at the Rajamangala National Stadium.

Indonesia defeated the War Elephants 2-1 in Bogor last Wednesday, which gives them the much needed advantage for the away game. Thailand will inevitably put up a tough fight, as they are looking to win their fifth Suzuki Cup trophy tonight.

Thailand must win by at least one goal to make that dream come true.

“I hope, and expect us to be champions, of course. After this, we get back to the World Cup qualifiers.” said Thana Wongmanee from Goal.com.

“Winning the Suzuki Cup may gain the team just a little boost, but to lose can damage our confidence a lot.”

Indonesia has never won the AFF Suzuki Cup since 1996, so they will be looking to annihilate Thailand tonight, although it may be a tough task to pull. But they have surprised us in so many games, they might do it again tonight.
