“Make Pahang Great Again” – Dollah Salleh to Tok Gajah supporters

Former national coach Dollah Salleh is back with Pahang FA, and he is determined to take make the Tok Gajah squad great again.

Dollah Salleh last coach Pahang back in 2013, where Pahang won their first Malaysia Cup trophy in 21 years.

Fast forward to 2016, the Elephants suffered a lacklustre season and struggled to even stay on in the Malaysia Super League. Pahang finished 10th in the Super League, and almost got relegated. But thanks to 3 last-minute points awarded to them by FAM, they stayed on in the league.

“Pahang supporters want changes from the performance that the squad showed last season. It’s a big task and it is going to be a challenge for me, but I am ready for it.” he said.

“We can start from scratch. It’s a big job for me, but it’s a challenge I’m ready to take. I’ll do my best to make Pahang a team to be feared again.”

“My focus right now is to rework the strength of the team and prepare the players. I’m still looking for defenders. We tested two players recently but the result was less than satisfactory.”

Pahang will be taking on JDT II second round of the 2017 FA Cup.
