Kelantan FA (KAFA) today has unveiled their new jersey along with introducing their team for this season as they registered 31 players for their squad.
Along with Lebanon’s Mohammed Ghaddar and Senegal’s Morgaro Gomis, Berita Harian reported that Kelantan has signed Brazilian attacker Alessandro Celin and Senegal defender Mamadou Danso.
“This is the first time in the state’s football history that the Red Warriors (TRW) have bought imports that were a bargain compared to the local players,” said Tan Sri Annuar Musa, the KAFA Advisor.
Kelantan has also added new local faces from their President Cup 2016 squad as well as adding the likes of Mohammad Abdul Aziz Ismail and S. Thinagaran from ATM.
Annuar said that the team aims to remain in the Super League.
Annuar also hopes to for the Red Warriors to be stronger starting this year and said that 2018 would be Kelantan’s year.
Kelantan will face Melaka United at home tomorrow evening for their first match of the 2017 Super League.
