“It’s not impossible to beat JDT” – Indra Putra fired up for next MSL bout

After defeating PKNS 3-1 last week, a reinvigorated Kelantan FA is determined to repeat the feat with their next opponents: Johor Darul Ta’zim.

The Red Warriors annihilated PKNS in an astounding away win through a brace by Mohammed Ghaddar and a goal from captain Mohd Badhri. PKNS struggled to retaliate, with only goal scored by Gonzalo Soto.

The east coast side believe that with the same spirit and solid teamwork, it is likely that they can take down MSL champions JDT. The Red Warriors will be facing JDT this Saturday at their home, which makes it even more important for them to secure a win.

“It’s not impossible to beat JDT.” Kelantan’s Indra Putra said with burning enthusiasm. “This is the most anticipated match, and beating JDT is a very very important task for us as a team, and to make sure that Kelantan stays at the top tier of the MSL table this season.”

The 35-year old versatile forward is aware that JDT has the reputation of being the most complete club in Malaysia, but The Red Warriors will not let that dispirit them. Instead, they will be much more aggressive in taking on the Southern Tigers.

“I think if we play well, with the end-goal in mind, it’s not impossible to beat JDT. But, what’s more important is that we play as a team, and show them what we’re capable of.” Indra stressed. He also added that The Red Warriors have an advantage because they are well rested while JDT was busy working on their Asia Champions League campaign.
