#Keirin: Azizulhasni makes history by winning first World Championship title

After years of hard work, Azizulhasni has officially sealed his first ever World Championship title after performing admirably in the Keirin final in Hong Kong today.

The Malaysian track cyclists outclassed Colombia’s Fabian Puerta Zapata and Czech Republic’s Tomas Babek to clinch the gold medal in style.

Fondly known as PocketRocket Man, Azizul went into the tournament as one of the favourites to triumph in the Keirin event, given the fact that he had notched bronze in the last two editions of Worlds.

And the 29 year-old certain did not disappoint by running riot in the final before effectively clinching his first ever World Championship gold medal. Predictably, Twitter went insane!
