It’s been a terrific week for Ajax fans! In mid-week, they thumped Lyon 4-1 to effectively put one foot in the final of the Europa League. Then, they carried that form into the Eredivisie, where they smashed in another set of four goals. This time around, their victims were Go Ahead Eagles.
The victory was pivotal as it kept Ajax’s hopes of potentially pipping Feyenoord to the Dutch league title alive, given that the Rotterdam-based outfit incurred a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Excelsior. But a standout moment from Ajax’s game came via 19 year-old Justin Kluivert, who is the son of Dutch legend, Patrick Kluivert!
On the 24th minute of the game, with the score still 0-0, Justin produced a sensational shot from outside the box, which left GAE’s goalie completely helpless, on its way in. Check out the video of his strike below. Good genes certainly help, don’t they?
