Meet Tyger Cubs, the match-making site for Malaysian sports lovers

Malaysia is jam-packed with sports fans, and there’s no question about it.

We love our weekly badminton sessions that let us pretend to be Datuk Lee Chong Wei for a couple of hours, and we fill up every padang in the neighbourhood with our very own football matches during the evenings.

But what happens you’re in the mood for football but your friends have to work overtime?

What if you want to play futsal but you only have two people on your team?

What will happen to your badminton sessions if your regular “badminton kaki” sprained his arm and has to sit out a couple of weeks?

Or perhaps you want to play golf, but can’t seem to find anyone interested in the sport?

You go on to Tyger Cubs.

Initiated by sports enthusiast, Azim Nasaruddin, Tyger Cubs work as your matchmaking platform — and it is purely for sports.

All you have to do is sign up at the Tyger Cubs official site, create a profile for yourself and list all the sports you play.

Then, you can make a request for another member to join your team; or other sports lovers can send a request to you. Once you accept the request, the two of you will be connected, and voila, you’re playing futsal together this weekend! It’s really that easy.
