We have to take immediate action if it’s true – TSAM on Ghaddar’s transfer

Okay, first of all, that is quite confusing. Hasn’t the Lebanese striker made it very clear that he’s leaving via an official statement?

In a newly released Facebook statement, Tan Sri Annuar Musa posted screenshots of Johor Darul Ta’zim’s statement on acquiring Mohammed Ghaddar, as well as Ghaddar’s statement on leaving the club.

In addition to the statement, Tan Sri Annuar Musa said “If these postings are true, then I hope KAFA (Kelantan FA) calls for an immediate meeting and decide what’s next.”

“We have to be fast, don’t get stuck. We have to follow the rules. On the 24th we have a Super League game, and we need to keep our winning momentum going.” the statement read.

While it makes perfect sense that Tan Sri Annuar Musa, as KAFA’s adviser, would call for a meeting to decide how the club will make do without their star striker, it is quite perplexing that he doesn’t know if Ghaddar is leaving for sure, or the fact that JDT has made an offer for him.

Or at least, that’s what the statement seems to imply.

Ghaddar officially confirmed that that he will be leaving Kelantan FA to join the Southern Tigers via Instagram, calling it an “opportunity of a lifetime”. He even issued an apology to the Kelantan fans, asking them to understand that he has to do this for his family.

According Utusan, Ghaddar will receive a lucrative paycheck in JDT, up to RM 200,000 a month. This transfer is also supposed to help KAFA to pay off their debts — which includes unsettled players’ and manager’s salaries.
