PHOTOS: TMJ present during first Harimau Malaya training session

Can we all agree that this is a crucial period for Malaysian football?

The Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim was elected as president of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) a few months ago and has done several things to change the ideology of the structure of the association for the betterment of local football.

The most important decision that was made by the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) owner was to appoint Nelo Vingada as the head coach of the rebranded Harimau Malaya national team.

Nelo Vingada and his assistant, Tan Cheng Hoe, will lead the boys to their first Asian Cup qualifying group stage match against Lebanon on June 13 and the Portuguese manager conducted his first training session at the Padang Seri Gelam training centre yesterday.

The coaching staff and players were honoured by the presence of the new FAM president.
