Melaka United announce the signing of Perak midfielder

Melaka United have announced that the team will be undergoing a major revamp in efforts to boost the team’s performance and Super League standings.

Melaka are currently in the relegation zone, having lost two of their last five matches and drew three; in which they also suffered a shocking 7-0 defeat to Johor Darul Ta’zim on the 9th of April.

Melaka’s team manager Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff Mahadi expressed his frustration and noted that Melaka might consider dropping all four of their import players, including their head coach, Eric Williams.

“We are going to assess the performance of all players and also find out problems faced by the coach.” Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff told Bernama.

“Maybe the players are not able to adopt to his coaching style. But personally I know Williams is a good coach. A decision will be made soon.” Datuk Wira added. He also said that Melaka will be testing and signing new players during the transfer window.

Melaka United recently announced the signing of Macedonian defender Jasmin Mecinovic in efforts to bolster the squad’s defence.

Apart from Mecinovic, Melaka have also signed 24-year-old midfielder, Nur Hakim Isa from Perak to strengthen Melaka United’s offence line ahead of the second half of the season.
