? British boxing hero Errol Christie dies at 53 after losing battle to cancer


Fans had to bid farewell to British boxing legend Errol Christie after he lost a tough battle to cancer and died at 53.

Christie was the captain of the English amateur boxing team from 1980 to 1983, and emerged European amateur champion in 1983.

He also secured a spot in the Guinness Book of Records for being the only British boxer to win 10 amateur titles.
