BREAKING: Pahang to sign Harimau Muda stars

Pahang FA are reportedly set to strengthen their squad by signing several Harimau Muda A starlets, as the new Super League season edges closer.

Having lifted the Malaysia Cup recently, the Tok Gajahs are currently formulating their 2015 squad, and the management has set its eye on several players from Ong Kim Swee’s Harimau Muda squad, that featured in the Queensland NPL this year.

Though no official names have been revealed it, rumours are suggesting that the likes of D. Saarvindran, Ariff Farhan and Gary Steven Robbat could be on their shopping list.

These names should be terrific captures for Pahang, should they sign, considering that they have been exposed to foreign leagues for quite some times now. Gary Steven Robbat was even part of the Harimau Muda squad that finished 4th in the S.League back in 2012, while Saarvindran has always been a key figure in all Ong Kim Swee’s teams.

They should provide a massive boost for Pahang, and will fit in nicely with the fans as well, especially after confirming the extension of star player Matias Conti’s contract for the 2015 season of Malaysian football.
